Let's face it, I love food. I was looking for a creative and different way to transform the fresh produce that I love. Bake, grill, sear, roast, saute, fry, sous-vide, pickle, dehydrate, and I've tried them all. But there was one that always alluded me. Freeze drying has always fascinated me and I had stumbled on a home freeze dryer and became fascinated with it. The idea of sharing this unique culinary experience with my friends and family drove me to create Rosewood Pond. A small, artisanal, freeze drying company using mostly local, fresh, and organic ingredients.
I've been working with animals since I was 12 and have been a licensed veterinary technician since 2013. Working in that field took it's toll on my body and during an extended medical leave I decided to start up this small freeze drying business. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life and I have some freeze dried dog treats on the site as well for your 4 legged friends to enjoy.
Another passion of mine is baking. It's a huge stress reliever for me and let me tell you, freeze dried cheesecake is out of this world. So I decided to throw some of my (mildly famous) baked goods after they have been put through the freeze dryer up on the site as well.
Rosewood Pond is a still a work in progress and will constantly be growing and evolving in new and exciting ways.
With the help of my friends and family I was able to get this small store off the ground and offer these high quality freeze dried products to the world! Thanks so much for visiting and please get in contact with me at: firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or comments.
